With the aim of creation
education up-to-date, scientific, well-intentional and life-oriented Government
Science College has developed a well-reputed organization in the literary ring
of the Dhaka city. Located near Farm gate, the emotion of the capital, it happening
its journey as ‘Technical High School’ on a terrestrial area of about nine
acres. Beside general topics, it had twenty posts for diverse technical
subjects. Later the establishment was upgraded into Middle level and renamed as
Intermediate Technical College. The post of the practical subjects promoted
thereafter, and from 1980 onwards, dissimilar areas of natural sciences as Physics,
Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry were presented along with Degree Course taking
Bangla & English. Ultimately on 19 November 1985, it was authoritatively named
Government Science College a reliable and highly commended
institution—imparting superiority education in the capital city. A exclusive
feature is that Government Science College, as unstated from the title, is the individual
Intermediate and science-created government institution for male students below
the ministry of education in Bangladesh.
