In the year 1943, the lessons of Kumudini College were held at the house of Premaditta Ghosh of Tangail city. Subsequently, preparations were made to hold classes at a granary possessed by Jatindranath Roy Chowdhury. In order of the founding of women’s colleges in the country Kumudini College was the third one after Dhaka Eden College and Sylhet Women’s College bangladesh. Mrs. Jotirmoy Gangly was the principal principal of the college. Superstructures:
There is a three-storeyed Managerial Building, a two-storeyed
long Transitional Building, a three-storeyed Theoretical Building and a
three-storeyed Masters Construction in the main campus. Besides the structures,
there are also three wide crenelated iron house in the college campus to hold lessons
and inspections. All the academic activities of Middle level, 14 Honours Subdivisions
and 4 Masters Subjects of about 6,500 students are being talented in the rooms
of these structures and houses. The library and a amusing computer lab of the
college is located at the 2nd and 3rd floor of the Managerial Building. There
is a refectory, a common room, a guest room, a protector room in the campus.

The hostel of the college is detached from the main campus by
a wall. There are three expansive buildings named as R.P. Saha Hall, Rokeya
Hall and Bhasani Hall to lodge approximately 1000 students of transitional and
honours levels. Residential students are observed constantly.

digitize the college campus. The passionate Principal of the college Professor
Sharifa Rajia and a good number of scientifically skilled teachers have been
working meticulously to bring the opportunities of information and technology
to the students of the college. An insufficient of the classrooms is now
