Welcome to Gouripur Govt. College a difficult educational institution of the north-east of the district of Mymensingh was recognized on 1st august in 1964. As he was passionate to education and a philanthropic, being knowledgeable of the establishment of a college, he handed over the terrestrial to the concerned authority fantasizing of a college going to be recognized soon in which thousands of students of his vicinity and from the further locality can accept education. Misbah Uddin Ahmed, A.F.M Mazharul Haq likewise played a tremendous role in the formation of this college. Having been national on 25th April in 1991 this college is now directing graduation Honours course in six topics Bengali, Social Work, Political Knowledge, Psychology, Accounting, Organization along with Degree progression and H.S.C within its ground of a scenic beauty. Mentionable, Doctor Skipper Mujibur Rahman Fakir M.P present , former minister of state for Fitness and Family Welfare, installed graduation Honours sequence under the supervision of Md. Govt. College was national on 25th April in 1991 by the teaching of Shahabuddin
