About ISMC-MC:

Introduction-ISMC:

The academic activities of Ibn Sina Medical College started through admission of 50 students in 2004-05 academic sessions. Through 2005-06 to 2014-2015 assemblies, 10 batches of total 650 students have commenced the MBBS course. The college is allied with University of Dhaka and recognized by Bangladesh Medical & Dental Assembly (BMDC). The students of first batch developed Graduate in 2011. Now the 5th batch is starting their residency in our Hospital. Our patients are receiving competent services by our own graduates who care with devotion and sympathy under the supervision of the experienced lecturers. Remaining batches are rolling as per schedule. The admission process of ISMC-11 (2014 – 2015) is now. The charge is based on merit possession in conformity with Government Order published and accepted by ISMC Academic Assembly and Governing Body.

Mission-ISMC:

Ibn Sina Medical College is recognized with a view to train the specially designated high quality medical candidates to be named 'Medical students' for five theoretical years. They will shadow the medical progression rendering to the syllabus laid down by Bangladesh Medical and Dental Assembly (BMDC) formulated for MBBS gradation. The degree thus be discussed by the University of Dhaka will be documented through registering by BMDC.  Ibn Sina Medical Academy is committed to create a cadre of high excellence doctors both by medical knowledge and high moral values, enthusiastic for suffering human physically and expressively in the country and others crossways the physical boundaries.

Objectives-ISMC:

The purposes of Ibn Sina Medical College are:

1. To teach that we the human class fashioned to live in the public with harmony and for each other with loving caring.

2. To teach bio-chemical sciences conventionally required for medical alumnus to meet the errands of providing as well as curative health maintenance to the people of Bangladesh.

3. To produce religiously well controlled, self-motivated and dedicated doctors instilled with the spirit of devotion to accountability to human, duty, kindness, tolerance, endurance and understanding.

4. To impart an extensive substantial of the social and economic disorder of Bangladesh with a view to instilling in them the belief, value and thoughts of the nation.

5. To inspire development of indispensable characters qualities, strong sense of morality and basic desire to serve the misery humanities at home and also abroad.

Capability-ISMC:

The capabilities of the college are as underneath:

1. Presently the college is training 65 students in all batches.

2. Capable to run 100 students’ academic actions in each batch.

3. Building-up the desire between the passed out doctors to prosecute further educations leading to concentration. In future.

Location-ISMC:

Ibn Sina Medical College is situated at 1/1-B, Kallyanpur, Dhaka-1212, Bangladesh. The 14 storied academic building is covering all the departments along with 250 beds academic hospital. In very near future additional 596 beds particular hospital will be functioning in the college campus. A dedicated 250 beds hypothetical block will be there with all advanced medical education and action facilities.

Academic Building-ISMC:

The Academic building is 14 storied construction having 1,29,000 sft. Area. Each floor is 8,790 sft. Obliging one department in each floor. In one side interplanetary for office of academic staff, laboratory, classes and in some floor 1/2 lecture colonnades are there. In the ground floor there are college refectory & common room and the other side student’s info center, guardians waiting rooms. Floor 1 is department of operation office & wards. Floor 2 is section of medicine & wards.

Scope for Foreign Students-ISMC:

As our 1st batch accomplished their graduation this year our institute is now captivating foreign students for admission in the 1st year MBBS progression. Foreign students have to apply via Bangladesh Taskforce in their country and they have to take correspondence of their O & A level GPA finished DME of DGHS. We have outstanding, safe and protected lodging ability for external students.
