History Govt Azizul Haque College:
The college was recognized in July 1939 from Bogra. It was baptized
after Sir Azizul Haque, who was vice president at the time. M. M. Mukherjee was
the first principal of Calcutta University.
The college organized its first classes at Subil Free Principal
School in the north lateral of Bogra town. Later it was transported to Fulbari
Bottola. It was originally only one small straw-shaded room. Marhum Moyen Uddin
Pramanik terrestrial to build the college.
With a view to situation up the college, Marhum Mr. Mohammad
Ali, Marhum Rajib Uddin Tarafdar, Moulovi
Osman Gani, Babu Naresh Chandra Tarafdar, Marhum Nawab Uddin Talukdar, Babu Nalin
Chandra Chatterzy, and Babu Profullo Chandra Sen donated seven thousand Taka.
One-third of the proceeds of the White-Way Circus Company Assistance Show were
donated to the college. Members of the first leading figures of the college
were Mohammad Ali previous Prime Minister of Pakistan as the chairman, Moulovi
Osman Gani, Habibur Rahaman ,Doctor Mofiz Uddin , Mahbubur Rahaman Chowdhury .
In 1941 the college was authorized by Calcutta University
with the exertions of Sir Azizul Haque, who was Education Minister of
Non-Separated Bangal, Speaker of the Bengali Assembly, and Vice Chancellor of
Calcutta University. In 1968 the college was familiar as a government college.
The college has two homes. The original 4 acres of land is now recognized as
the Old Dwelling of Azizul Haque College. Only sophisticated inferior classes
are administered there. In 1962, through the exertions of Habibur Rahaman preceding
Education Minister of the Pakistani govt. a new building was established on 55
acres of land. This part of the college is identified as the New Residence of
Govt. Azizul Haque College.the existing principal is Salamot Ullah Professor.

The old dwelling of the college has classrooms, four workrooms, a highly industrialized computer lab, a library, workplace rooms, common rooms for girls, five houses including a two-storey mosque, a playground, and a three-story inhabited building for male students christened Fakhruddin Ahmed Hall. The new habitation of the college has a three-storey structure for the arts and commerce collection, a three-story structure for the science group, a two-story library, a 2,500-seat auditorium, a two-store management building, a student assembly building, a rover scout building, workrooms, a two-store mosque, a schoolyard, cafeteria, post office, teachers club, tennis ground, a meeting room for teachers, three residential constructions for male students (Shahid Titumir Hall, Sher-E-Bangla Hall one residential structure for female students Begum Rokeya Hall Govt Azizul Haque College.
