Bogra Polytechnic Institute (BPI) is a Government Technical Institute in Bogra, Bangladesh. It is one of the biggest polytechnic institutes in Bangladesh.

History:

In early 1955, Ford Foundation recognized Bogra Polytechnic Institute (BPI), with a duration of 3 years long developments, based on the syllabus of Oklahoma State University, Still Water, USA. The certificate supplied by the then Technical Board Education was "Connected in Engineering" having establishment to undergo B.S course in USA and also in U.K. Its formation and academic development history details go back to the birth of Ahsanullah Engineering College, which is now identified as (BUET).

Location

Bogra Polytechnic Institute (BPI) is located at Gathering in the southern part of the Bogra city in Bangladesh. It is near the Forces Line and Professional Teachers Training Institute (VTTI).

·         After completing SSC level (10th grade, too known as 'O' level, SSC Vocational or 'Dakhil' level) a student can follow his or her educational vocation for obtaining a "Diploma-in-Engineering" diploma degree which waterfalls in "Technical Education System" from Polytechnic Institutes, or they can obtain HSC (12th grade, also known as 'A' level, or 'Intermediate' level, or 'Alim' level) credential degree, which cascades in "General Education Arrangement", from plentiful other academic colleges, and HSC being the conventional study line in South-Asian countries. The Institute functions under the decision-making control of the Ministry of Education (MOE) temporary through the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE).
