Chittagong
Polytechnic Institute is one of the important Institutes in Bangladesh in the ground
of Technical Education. It was recognized in the year 1962 extending over 35
acres of land decorated with hills and dales, fishponds, and strikingly green
tall trees. It is the second major Polytechnic Institute in Bangladesh, positioned
at Nasirabad below Khulshi Thana in Chittagong haven city.
This
Institute arrangement under the Ministry of education, Bangladesh is employed
to increase the number of theoretically educated people in the country as the
number is not acceptable. Its administrative actions are directed by the Executive
of Technical Education Board in Dhaka, Bangladesh and all of its academic progressions
are realized by Dhaka,Bangladesh BTEB.
There is a
three storied academic structure used for successively all academic actions and
it includes a physics lab, three electronic labs, a chemistry lab, four computer labs. Besides,
there are ten shops. It has five students’ hostels counting a female hotel. For
teachers and students, there is a big housing area in the campus. In the
southern property there is a very big playground. All of its beauty types the
campus a nonviolent learning environment.
It has
been demonstrated that skilled manpower is one of the three main components obligatory
for becoming middle revenue earning country. The government of Bangladesh is captivating
diverse steps for modernizing and refining the quality of technical education.
Keeping the similar pace with this goalmouth, Chittagong Polytechnic Institute
is employed sincerely attaining the goal.
History & Background by Chittagong Polytechnic Institute:
The fraction of technically educated individuals in our
country is very poor. The highest part of engineering collages, polytechnic
institutes completed their effort to intensification this percentage up to on average.
Government is very much absorbed about technical education and employs much for
mode- zing and refining the quality of technical education. Straight of

After on 1962, it was retitled as a Chittagong Polytechnic
Institute. It opinions on Twenty Acres of land. There are three deposited
academic building, two kept Computer and Electro-medical structure, five boys refuges,
one women hostel, One play Grounds, One mosque. There are Principal Bangle,
Teachers Neighborhood and staff Quarter in the Property. Residential area is bounded
by various trees such as mango, Jack fruits, Guava, Coconut, battlenut etc.
