Mymensingh Medical College (mmc) is a government medical college in Bangladesh which was established as an institution of national significance. It is located in the eastern portion of the town alongside Mymensingh Dhaka highway.

It happening in 1924 in Baghmara as Lytton Medical School conferring to the name of the then Governor of Bengal Mr. Lytton. The medical school had directed Licentiate of Medical Ability (LMF) till 1962. Mymensingh Medical College was christened in 1962 that started showing MBBS progression with 32 students as the 1st batch (M 01). Mymensingh Medical Journal is the sanctioned journal of Mymensingh Medical College which is a Directory Medicus / MEDLINE conscripted journal.

Library-MMC:

The MBBS library is located in the western block of the college house. It consists of a orientation for the use of the facility and doctors. Autopsy facilities:

Due to religious traditions, postmortems are not carried out regularly in all hospital deaths. A student has to join at least 10 autopsies below supervision of a teacher during the old-fashioned of second specialized MBBS education.

BMDC Registration-MMC:

BMDC Registration is a compulsory pre-requisite for all categories of replication, job and occupation. Both afterward Graduation and Post-Graduation all the Doctors must catalogue him/her-self in BMDC. Practice without registering is punishable as per law.

Accommodation:
